Mullins Starting To Settle In At AAA: The “Just One Fan’s” Prospect Report for 6/10/2018

Mullins Tides

Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Sunday, June 10th, 2018.

TEAM SUMMARY:

The Delmarva Shorebirds lost to the Suns 4-3 in 11 innings.  Two Shorebirds’ errors in the top of the 11th lead to two runs and the loss.

The Frederick Keys won a 5-inning rain shortened game over Wilimington 2-1.

The Bowie Baysox lost 7-5 to New Hampshire.  Jayson Aquino was rocked for 7 runs in 3.2 innings of work.

The Norfolk Tides lost 8-3 to the Toledo Mud Hens as Tides’ pitching surrenders 2 homeruns.  Drew Dosch starred for Tides with a 2 RBI and 3 for 4 day.

#TheRoadToBirdland

This season, I am highlighting four Baltimore Orioles minor league prospects; these players are personal favorites of mine.  The players are C Ben Breazeale (NR per MLB Pipeline), OF Cedric Mullins (#6), RHP Yefry Ramirez (#17) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#19).

In an article for Baby Birdland, I explained the reasons why I am watching one of them (Reyes); one (Breazeale) was my first face-to-face interview for Baby Birdland.  I also had the opportunity to conduct a face-to-face interview with another (Mullins) early this season.   Each day here you will find a summary of their game performance.

Thanks for reading!
