The Baltimore Orioles used a 7 run first inning as the catalyst for a 10-7 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on this day in 1983.

Gary Roenicke went 3 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI while both Leo Hernandez and Ken Singleton homered in support of starter Mike Boddicker.  Boddicker pitched 5.0 innings and surrendered 5 hits and 6 runs (1 earned) while walking 1 and striking out 3.  The Orioles committed a highly unusual 6 errors by 4 different players in the game.

Jim Gantner kept the Brewers in the game by going 2 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun and 4 RBI on the day.
