The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 6-4 on this day in 1983.

Mike Boddicker (5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R (ER), 1 BB, 4 K) and Sammy Stewart (4.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R (ER), 1 BB, 2 K) combined for the victory; it was Boddicker’s 3rd win and Stewart’s 2nd save.

Dave Stieb started for the Blue Jays and pitched just 2.2 innings in taking the loss.

Al Bumbry (2 for 4, 1 R, 2 RBI) and Eddie Murray (1 for 3, 2 R, 2 RBI) both homered for the Orioles.
