The Baltimore Orioles were shutout by the Toronto Blue Jays 6-0 on this day in 1983.  Dave Stieb tossed a complete game in beating the Orioles.

Stieb scattered 4 hits on the day while walking 1 and striking out 4.  He faced 5 batters over the minimum for the game.

Dan Ford continued to stay hot as he joined Cal Ripken, Jr, Rich Dauer and Joe Nolan in getting one of the four hits off of Stieb.

Sammy Stewart started for the Orioles and gave up 4 runs, all earned, and 8 hits in 4 innings of work; he was tagged with the loss.
