Ken Singleton homered for the Birds as he went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.  John Lowenstein also homered and went 1 for 1 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Charlie Hough gave up 5 runs in 3.1 innings of work in taking the loss.
