The “Just One Fan’s” Prospect Report for 7/25/2017: @Thesushi07 Solid, @cedmull30 Keeps Hitting

Hello Orioles fans here is the daily prospect report for Tuesday, July 25th, 2017.

To Recap:  This season, I am highlighting four Baltimore Orioles minor league prospects. These players are personal favorites of mine.  In an article for Baby Birdland, I explained the reasons why I am watching one of them.  The players are: RHP Jason Garcia (NR), RHP Jesus Liranzo (#22 per MLB Pipeline), OF Cedric Mullins (#5) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#17).  Each day here I will provide a summary of their game performance.

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie Baysox): lost 4-3 @Erie SeaWolves: 3.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R (ER), 3 BB, 5 K, 1 WP                                                                                                                                                 Season stats: 24 games, 1-3, 8 starts, 2 for 4 in saves, 3 holds, 4.67 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, 44.1 IP, 38 H, 24 R (23 ER), 3 HBP, 29 BB, 53 K, .232 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie Baysox): lost 4-3 @ Erie SeaWolves: 2 for 3, 1 RBI, 1 BB       Season slash line: .323/ .360/ .538 with 36 runs scored, 14 2B, 1 3B, 8 HR, 25 RBI, 13 BB, 5 SB, 5 CS                                                                                                                                                     ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **
