The “Just One Fan’s” Prospect Report for 7/17/2017

Hello Orioles fans here is the daily prospect report for Monday, July 17th, 2017.

To Recap:  This season, I am highlighting four Baltimore Orioles minor league prospects.  These players are personal favorites of mine.  In an article for Baby Birdland, I explained the reasons why I am watching one of them.  The players are: RHP Jason Garcia (#21 per MLB Pipeline), RHP Jesus Liranzo (#14), OF Cedric Mullins (#17) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#9).  Each day here I will provide a summary of their game performance.

 

Jason Garcia (Bowie Baysox): lost 9-3 @ Hartford Yard Goats: did not pitch            Season stats: 22 games, 5-2, 2 Holds, 47.0 IP, 5.94 ERA, 1.91 WHIP, 33 R (31 ER), 61 H, 29 BB, 41 K, 4 HBP, .316 BA against

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie Baysox): lost 9-3 @ Hartford Yard Goats: did not pitch                       Season stats: 22 games, 1-3, 6 starts, 2 for 4 in saves, 3 holds, 5.17 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, 38.1 IP, 35 H, 23 R (22 ER), 2 HBP, 25 BB, 46 K, .241 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie Baysox): lost 9-3 @ Hartford Yard Goats: currently on the 7-day DL (left hamstring)                                                                                                                           Season slash line: .318/ .356/ .543 with 35 runs scored, 13 2B, 1 3B, 8 HR, 24 RBI, 12 BB, 5 SB, 4 CS                                                                                                                                                     ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **
