Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Saturday 5/6/2017.

During the 2017 season, I am following four Orioles prospects: RHP Jason Garcia (#21 per MLB Pipeline), RHP Jesus Liranzo (#15), OF Cedric Mullins (#18) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress every day and then report a brief synopsis of their performance.

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie): won 5-0 at Richmond Flying Squirrels: 2.0 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 3 K, 1 HBP   season stats: 9 games, 1-1, 1 save, 12.2 IP, 7.82 ERA, 1.97 WHIP, 12 H, 14 K, 13 BB, 2 HBP, .245 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie): won 5-0 at Richmond Flying Squirrels: currently on the 7-day DL (hamstring)                                                                                                                             season slash line: .367/ .406/ .683                                                                                                         ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **

Jomar Reyes (Frederick): won 1-0 at Carolina Mudcats: currently on the 7-day DL (right hand)                                                                                                                                             season slash line: .321/ .361/ .436
