The One Fan’s Prospect Watch for 4/22/17: Rain and Not Much Else

Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Saturday 4/22/2017.

I am following four Orioles prospects this 2017 season: RHP Jason Garcia (#21 per MLB Pipeline), RHP Jesus Liranzo (#15), OF Cedric Mullins (#18) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress every day and then report how the performed.

Jason Garcia (Bowie):  at Harrisburg Senators: did not pitch                                           season stats: 2 games, 1-0, 7.1 IP, 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 9 K, 2 BB .242 BA against

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie): at Harrisburg Senators: did not pitch                                                season stats: 5 games, 1-1, 1 save, 5.14 ERA, 2.14 WHIP, 7 K, 8 BB, .269 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie): at Harrisburg Senators: currently on the 7 day DL (hamstring)    season slash line: .367/ .406/ .683                                                                                                     ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **

Jomar Reyes (Frederick): vs Salem Red Sox: POSTPONED due to rain                                      season slash line: .362/ .403/ .517
