One Fan’s Prospect Watch for 4/20/2017: Cedric Mullins



Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Thursday 4/20/2017.

Just a refresher: I am following four Orioles prospects this 2017 season: RHP Jason Garcia (#21 per MLB Pipeline), RHP Jesus Liranzo (#15), OF Cedric Mullins (#18) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress every day and then report how the performed.

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie): vs Richmond Squirrels: did not pitch                                                season stats: 5 games, 1-1, 1 save, 5.14 ERA, 2.14 WHIP, 7 K, 8 BB, .269 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie): vs Richmond Flying Squirrels: 1 for 4, 1 R (8)                                season slash line: .367/ .406/ .683                                                                                                    ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **

Jomar Reyes (Frederick): vs Salem Red Sox: postponed due to wet field                       season slash line: .358/ .382/ .528
