My Prospect Watch for 4/18/18: Garcia, Mullins, Reyes and Now Jesus Liranzo

 

Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Tuesday 4/18/2017.

Just a refresher: I am following three Orioles prospects this 2017 season: RHP Jason Garcia (#21 per MLB Pipeline), OF Cedric Mullins (#18) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress daily and then report how the performed.

Jason Garcia (Bowie):  vs Richmond Flying Squirrels: did not pitch                                               season stats: 1 game, 0-0, 3.1 IP, 10.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, 3 K, 0 BB .316 BA against

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie): vs Richmond Squirrels: 2.0 innings pitched, 2 H, 1 R (earned)  season stats: 5 games, 1-1, 1 save, 5.14 ERA, 2.14 WHIP, 7 K, 8 BB, .269 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie): vs Richmond Flying Squirrels: 1 for 3, 3 RBI, HR (4), 1 R                         season slash line: .412/ .455/ .784                                                                                                 ** named Eastern League Player of the Week (4/6-4/16) **

Jomar Reyes (Frederick): at Winston-Salem Dash: 0 for 5, 3 K                                                        season slash line: .347/ .373/ .510
