The Prospect Watch for 4/14/17: Mullins and Reyes

 

Hello Orioles fans, here is my prospect report for Friday 4/14/2017.

Just a refresher: I am following three Orioles prospects this 2017 season: RHP Jason Garcia (#22 per MLB Pipeline), OF Cedric Mullins (#19) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress daily and then report how the performed.

 

Jason Garcia (Bowie):   ** was designated for assignment on Thursday to make room for Damien Magnifico **                                                                                                             season stats: 1 game, 0-0, 3.1 IP, 10.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, 3 K, 0 BB .316 BA against

Cedric Mullins (Bowie): vs Harrisburg Senators: 1 for 4, 1 R (14), 1 SB (2)                                                        season slash line: .462/ .500/ .846  ** has hit safely in all 9 games**

Jomar Reyes (Frederick): at Carolina Mudcats: 3 for 4, 3 2B (5), 2 R (10)                                                            season slash line: .500/ .529/ .750
