Prospect Watch (4/8/17): Mullins & Reyes

 

Hello Orioles fans, both the Frederick Keys and the Bowie Baysox played day games this day so you get treated to a second installment today of my prospect report.

Just to refresh, I am following three Orioles prospects this season: RHP Jason Garcia (#22 per MLB Pipeline), OF Cedric Mullins (#19) and 3B Jomar Reyes (#10).

I will keep track of their progress daily and let you know how the performed.

On 4/8/17:

Jason Garcia: at Akron RubberDucks, not scheduled to pitch

Cedric Mullins: at Akron RubberDucks: 2 for 5, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, stolen base (1)        season slash line: .600/ .600/ 1.100

Jomar Reyes: vs Carolina MudCats: 3 for 4, 1 run scored                                                    season slash line: .556/ .556/ .667
